Arkansas Methodist Medical Center has many volunteer opportunities available for men, women, and teens! Interesting and challenging volunteer positions are waiting for you now.
If you're an organized person and enjoy an office-type environment, we have opportunities for volunteers to work on the Medical Center switchboards, Information Desks, provide Clerical Support, volunteer in Medical Records, or in Data Entry.

If you have a tender, loving heart, you may want to try your hand at volunteering on the patient floors or the critical care unit. You must be a mature individual that can help us create and promote a caring, compassionate, efficient environment for patients, families, and visitors. You'll be in direct contact with our patients and their families, many of them requiring your compassion, understanding, and willingness to do whatever it is you can to help them in this unique setting. |
The Volunteer Services Office also coordinates a Candy Stripers program. This is the perfect opportunity for young people to get a taste of what it is to be in the Medical Field, and provide valuable support to the patients and staff at AMMC. Many Medical Professionals, whether it be RN's, LPN's, or MD's, began their medical careers as Candy Stripers.
