For Our Patients
What to Bring upon Admission

You need only to bring a few personal items to the hospital. We suggest a bathrobe, nightgown/pajamas, slippers, toilet articles, and writing/reading material. Your glasses, contact lenses, and dentures should be in a protective case. At the hospital you will receive a kit which includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, soap, shampoo, skin lotion, talcum powder, tissues, and a wash basin. (Please advise the nurse if you do not want the Admissions Kit).

Please Note: Maternity patients should bring clothes for the baby to wear home.

Only a small amount of money should be brought for buying newspapers and incidentals from the gift shop. Television use is free of charge.

We strive to provide a safe environment for our patients and ask that you assist us with this goal by not bringing any electrical appliances to the hospital. You may bring battery powered razors, radios, Walkmans, CD Players, curling irons, and hairdryers. For safe keeping, we ask that you leave your jewelry and other valuables at home.

Insurance cards should be brought to help the admitting staff appropriately register your account and ensure you are billed properly.
