Arkansas Methodist Medical Center supplies MD Consulting with billing information. They bill Medicare, Blue Cross, and insurance carriers. Medicare requires the Anesthesia charge to be broken down into two components: Nurse and Doctor charges. All other Third Party carriers receive one charge for both services.
In addition, Arkansas Methodist Medical Center bills you for a non-physician charge which covers the use of the anesthesia equipment and supplies.
Please note:
- The physicians will accept assignment for Medicare benefits.
- There are no prompt payment discounts.
