The AMMC Endoscopy Lab is located on the first floor between ICU and Outpatient Surgery. The Endoscopy Department consists of four Preparation Rooms where patients get ready for their procedure, two Procedure Rooms, and a four bed Recovery Room.
AMMC uses only the latest state-of-the-art equipment and employs a staff of highly trained physicians and nurses in order to provide you with the highest quality Endoscopy Services available so we may accurately address all of your GI (Gastrointestinal) concerns. As a matter of fact, many of our physicians have received extensive training in gastroenterology with extensive training in diseases of the digestive tract and knowledge about the best course of treatment for you.

We provide a number of services for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases of the GI tract including but not limited to:
- Polyps
- colitis
- ulcers
- cancer
- gastritis
- hemorrhoids
- constipation
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- disease of the pancreas
- hepatitis
- Chrohn's disease
- gall bladder problems
Procedures performed in the Endoscopy Lab are generally done on an outpatient basis and do not require anesthesia.
